Going South

A lazy start today so after a quick shop at Tesco we set off for Bramerton where we could park up near the river for lunch …

We took Hamish for a walk and I found this strange sculpture called Zenith …

Underneath it was a plaque …

After lunch we walked in the other direction which is apparently part of the Wherrymans Way …

and we found this chap outside the pub …

Back in the RV we drove to Loddon and parked by the Staithe. Waiting for us by the car park was this chap …

It was a lovely setting to park up …

We went for a stroll up the High Street where this shop really amused me …

Hardware & DIY, Funeral Directors and Toys & Gifts all in the same place! After reaching the church …

we returned to the RV where the cockerel had been replaced by a bunny!

We were now heading for Reedham Ferry to save having to drive the long way round to the northern side of the river. When we arrived by the river the ferry was over the other side so we waited for it to come over …

We drove on and after a short crossing …

we were over …

We then made for our favourite spot by the river for a cuppa …

While we were sitting there a train went over the bridge …

We went for a walk past The Lord Nelson …

and looked back at the railway bridge …

It was then time to make tracks for home.
